A property owner is asking the town to rezone about 2 acres from Agriculture to Planned Development for Light Industrial Buildings near Business Park Drive, south of First Street. The public hearing will shape whether industrial development moves into that corridor. No decision has been made yet.
Marco mixed-use development at DNT and University Drive
The biggest development in Prosper's history got its final zoning approval: 143 acres at the tollway's most prominent corner, with a lagoon centerpiece, village retail, and up to 4,400 housing units (2,500 mid-rise cap). Council negotiated hard on phasing so apartments don't outpace retail and the lagoon amenity is usable from day one.
